Training for HEIs IROs and institutional Erasmus+ coordinators “Internationalisation and Erasmus+ projects’ implementation” (10.10.2023, Kyiv)
On October 10, 2023 within #ErasmusDays 2023 National Erasmus+ office in Ukraine together with Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv in cooperation with higher education institutions of Ukraine – ICM porject teams organised training “Internationalization and implementation of Erasmus+ projects” for Ukrainian HEIs IROs and institutional Erasmus+ coordinators.
The event was held with the support of the All-Ukrainian #ErasmusDays 2023 partners: the European Union to Ukraine, European Executive Agency for Education and Culture, Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, Council on Youth Affairs under the President of Ukraine, National Olympic Committee of Ukraine, Sports Committee of Ukraine, Information Center Erasmus+ Youth and European Solidarity Corps, European Association of International Education (EAIE), NGO “Professional Network of Education and Science Managers of Ukraine”, Bohdan Havrylyshyn Family Foundation, Leibniz University of Hanover, Erasmus Student Network Ukraine, Young European Ambassadors, Ukrainian Association of Youth Councils, Erasmus Mundus Alumni, as well as with the active participation of Ukrainian universities, youth and other organizations.
PRESENTATIONS of the training.
About 20 representatives of Ukrainian HEIs IROs and institutional Erasmus+ coordinators from different cities of Ukraine took part in the event. The moderator of the event was Svitlana SHYTIKOVA, NEO – Ukraine Coordinator.
Ksenia SMYRNOVA, Vice-Rector on International Cooperation, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, welcomed participants expressing importance to share their experience and create new ideas to join different Erasmus+ calls 2024.
During the first part of the event, Svitlana SHYTIKOVA and Kateryna ZHDANOVA, NEO in Ukraine, provided presentation on the institutional coordination of the EUs Erasmus+ Programme, key features during the martial law in Ukraine, and focused attention on the activities of the IRO on key on Erasmus+ portals (FTOP and E+&ESC) regarding access to profiles, account validation and working with the system for winning projects (signing the Declaration of Honor).
During the second part of the event, participants had the opportunity to analyze the websites of various higher education institutions according to various criteria (openness, accessibility, etc.) and discuss current issues and challenges of institutional implementation of the Programme.
